This versatile and super easy pizza recipe means you can use any game that you have in the freezer. We think it would go best with pigeon or pheasant but no reason why you can’t try it with partridge, hare or venison.
Ingredients
For the Pizza | |
400g | Cooked game meat, diced |
200g | Goats cheese |
200g | Red onion confit |
200g | Tomato sauce |
4 | Pizza bases |
100g | Rocket |
To taste | Cornish sea salt |
To taste | Milled black pepper |
Preheat the oven to 220°C
Spread the tomato sauce evenly on the pizza bases, before adding the goats cheese, red onion, game meat and half of the rocket.
Once you have added your toppings, place the pizza in the oven for 5 minutes, or until the cheese starts to melt a little.
Remove from the oven, and top each pizza with the remaining fresh rocket.
Finish with a little sea salt and pepper, and enjoy. If you want to you could even add some shavings of parmesan and a drizzle of balsamic.
